What should I expect when I visit the church?

  • You will receive a warm welcome as you enter from our team, who will be able to answer your questions, or point you to someone who can.
  • There will be singing, the reading of God's Word, prayers, a children's talk, and preaching from God's Word.
  • There is short section for notices for the week.

We sing hymns and songs both traditional, from Christian Hymns, and contemporary from our own supplement. All hymns and songs are both projected and offered in book format.

If English isn't your first language, we offer simultaneous translation of the service using Microsoft Translation.  A QR code at the entrance to the main hall can be scanned and a code for that day's meeting is shown on the welcome screen.  Ask the welcome steward at the door for more details.

Hot and cold drinks, and biscuits, are served after the morning service, when there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What is there for children at church?

Sunday morning is a family service: children are welcome to stay with their parents throughout the service. However, there are several things for children of different ages:

  • The children's message and song, which is part of the service,
  • Following this, children of primary school age can go to Lion's Cubs. (It is sometimes helpful to go with your children the first time to settle them in).
  • There is also a crèche for babies and toddlers, which is available throughout the service.
