At Little Hill Church we are absolutely committed to protecting your privacy. Our policy can be summarised in one sentence: we will not share your information with others without your consent.

We have established the following two principles:

1. We will respect your email privacy. You will only receive email from Little Hill Church in relation to areas you have expressly signed up for.
2. We will not share any individual user details (including your email address) to any third party.

What information do we collect and what is it used for?

Little Hill Church doesn’t capture and store any personal information about individuals who access this website, except where personal details have been voluntarily given at website user Registration and via the website ‘My Profile’ form. The minimum information needed to register is your first and last name and a password. We also ask for the further ‘My profile’ information such as contact details for the following reasons:

1. To provide a useful resource in the form of an online church directory.
2. To provide an interactive web site where email is used to communicate.
3. To provide a security mechanism whereby we can restrict content to certain groups.

Who will have access to your information?

You have control over who is able to access specific items of your personal information. You can change these settings from the ‘My Profile’ page.
By default your personal information will be visible only to other registered Little Hill Church website users.
Registration is restricted to those who are Little Hill Church members and those who attend the church regularly. 
You can view and amend your details via the ‘My Profile’ page of the website at any time or amendments can be requested from the Little Hill church website administrator. You can ask for your details to be removed at any time.

Information storage and disposal

Your information is stored securely on the Little Hill Church website servers. It will remain there indefinitely until deleted by the website administrator or by yourself or on request to the website administrator.

What else you should know about privacy

Remember to close your browser when you have finished your user session. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place like a library or internet cafe. You as an individual are responsible for the security of, and access to, your own computer.

In short, if you post personal information in publicly accessible online forums, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.
